Hey Valley! Good morning Valley family!
I sure enjoyed jumping back into our Creed series ths past weekend. We covered some incredible truths and clarified what God's Word teaches about Jesus being "Truly God and Truly Man." I am praying it was encouraging to you and that the truth of who he is brings you incredible peace and hope this week. To view the message again you can go here and you can also find the completed sermon outline here (with a few discussion questions). Beyond the weekend message there are three items I would ask you to prayerfully give attention to this week:
Thank you cards for Longview Fire
We still have a load of cards we would love to have filled out with prayers, encouragement and thank you notes. Our office is open 9-5 this week and we would love to have you come by and write a few notes or pick up a stack and return them on Thursday.
Valley Family Gathering
This Sunday at 6pm we will gather physically and digitally to celebrate God's faithfulness, share communion and look at the future. This will include approving the 2021 budget! More details for how to participate will be coming a bit later this week.
Get to know Kevin and Rachel
Many of you enjoyed meeting Kevin and Rachel two weeks ago. I sat down with them for a longer interview where we discussed ministry to teens, missions in a cross-cultural setting and even some good music. You can listen on most podcast apps or online by going to the VCF Podcast here.
