Hey Valley!
"I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only son, Our Lord."
Such a simple phrase but it is jam packed with meaning. If you tuned in or attended this weekend you know we marveled at the identity of Jesus Christ. If you were not able to make it, I hope you take time this week to consider the message. You can find it here and the sermon notes can be found here also.
This coming week we have special guest visiting who will be sharing about mission work they are preparing for. I hope you are able to make it! I know you will be inspired and excited about what God is doing around the world. Also, a few important dates you want to be aware of:
October 18th after the 11 am service there is an informational meeting about the local Good News Club mission opportunities at Valley.
October 25th in the evening we have our church annual family gathering. More details will be coming shortly but the plan is to share in communion together, celebrate God's faithfulness over the past year and look at 2021 and where God appears to be leading us. We are still working out how the live-stream and social distancing will work that evening so stay tuned for more info.
Kids ministry is back up! We have restarted elementary age kids ministry in the fellowship hall during the PWC services. If you have kiddos we would love to see them and if you are interested in volunteering (many of our previous volunteers are not able to serve at this point) you can contact our Children's Ministry Director here.
