Hey Valley!
So... this weekend was a strange one for me as three things happened that were not "normal." First, I re-wrote a substantial part of the message Saturday. Rarely does that happen. Second, I officiated a wedding right before the Saturday service and preached with a jacket on... sorry if that freaked some of you out. Finally, on Sunday, my digital notes did not load when I stood to preach, so I went off memory. Like I said... it was strange weekend.
Yet, God is faithful and it was a wonderful weekend worshiping together. For those who were there on Sunday and got a message based solely on what I could remember, you can here the Saturday night version here.
Also, part of my original message was going to include how God provides us with our priorities in prayer. I included that content in a blog post that may be worth your time. It includes a list of governmental officials you can be praying for by name.
What this weekend looks like for worship services is still being decided. We hope to have a plan based upon volunteer availability in the next day or two, so stay tuned. Also, if you know of someone part of the Valley family who does not get these updates feel free to forward this email to them.
Loving People Toward Jesus,
Pastor Mike
