Dynamic
Valley Christian Fellowship is led by a plurality of elders. We believe this reflects the pattern for local church leadership found in the New Testament, particularly in Paul's letters to Timothy and Titus (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1). Elders are men of proven character who are called to give themselves to the ministry of the Word and prayer devoted to teaching, shepherding, and providing spiritual oversight for the congregation.
Supporting the work of the elders are our deacons and staff. Deacons are men and women of godly character who serve in practical ministry, freeing the elders to focus on their primary calling. Staff members carry out the day-to-day work of ministry across various areas of church life.
Together, this structure reflects what we see in Acts 6, a commitment to both Word-centered leadership and faithful, servant-hearted care for the body.
