Monday Memo, July 27, 2020
Hey Valley! This coming week and month we have some cool things happening and a few changes to our services for the weekend. The first thing I want on your radar is an outdoor all church family gathering at 1pm on August 16th. During this, we want to provide an update regarding the life of the church and how we see ministry moving forward. This event will include space for people to "drive in" and participate as well as bring their own chairs and sit outside. In the coming weeks, I will give you a preview into some of what we are going to cover that weekend but for now, I encourage you to save the date.
Also, to give our volunteer teams some rest and to allow us to prepare for the fall (yes, it s almost here) we are going to adjust our weekend services during the month of August. It works perfect this month as many families are getting after their final summer vacations. So for the month of August the services we will hold are:
Saturday, 6pm at the Pacific Way
This service will be live-streamed and have ASL interpretation
Sunday, 9am at the Heights
This service will have Spanish translation
Sunday, 11am Live-stream only.
Come September we intend to go back to 3 in person services.
I am praying for you today that God's Spirit will continue to grow your joy in the Lord and that we will all remember it is a joy that nothing can steal! This weekend we looked at how the Spirit grows our joy and you can catch up or watch again here.
Also, below we have our Valley readying plan for this week as well as a new memory verse. I encourage you to also keep working on Galatians 5;22-23!
