Hey Valley!
I have been considering Romans 5 often over the last few days. In particular, verse 3-5 have proven encouraging:
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, [4] and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, [5] and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
These verses remind us that even though our situations may be hard right now, we have HOPE!! And it is not a faint hope, but the solid, guaranteed hope because God's love has been poured into our hearts. He loves us and in his love we have HOPE!
Finding hope sometimes takes works, but last week Andrew and I recorded a podcast about the hidden blessings of God's work. It dropped today, check it out I think you will be encouraged.
We also began a new series home the Armor of God this weekend. You can catch the video here. That said, our current plan is to do only digital services through the end of April. We will adjust as need and will also keep you informed.
Loving People Toward Jesus,
Pastor Mike
